![]() Masking, to hurt or to prevent? Masks, they are meant to hide, to cover and to protect. But what about those that's facing those masks? Ever thought how people hide their emotions? And why? Some hide their emotions, cause they're afraid to get hurt. Yet some, hide they're emotions just cause they were hurt. How about people that.. You know, are willing to help and to open up to those that have been hurt? They get hurt by people who are preventing themselves from hurt. Catch the irony. Why can't everyone be accommodating and accept one for who they are? We all are humans, be it gays, lesbians, homosexuals, bisexuals. Acceptance is key. We're humans, we all have feelings. So why do people ostracize others that, has little or no similarity to them at all? Don't they feel bad? Where have your conscience went? Masking prevents hurt more than causing hurt, but really, open up, it'll feel a whole lot better. It's like, pouring water into a cup, and believing that it can contain more than it looks. No. Everyone, one day, somehow, will have to share their experience. Share how they felt, and share their emotions. Not only does it suppress your thoughts and emotions, don't you think it's gone a little too far into damaging your judging skills? Everyone judges, that's also why, people choose to mask themselves. Judging, criticizing, it's all eventually cause hurt, and yes, hurt then they'll mask themselves. Masking is only a temporary, nothing lasts forever. ----- 'delierr.
